Our Mission

Founded in 1998, Far Reaching Ministries (FRM) is a Christian 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing emergency humanitarian aid, including food and medical resources. FRM emphasizes spiritual discipleship and physical rescues to protect targeted Christians, as well as vulnerable women, children, and elderly individuals from repeated victimization.
FRM is committed to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those in need around the world. Their approach focuses on discipleship as the primary method for nurturing mature Christians. FRM fulfills its mission through a range of impactful initiatives:

– Planting and building churches to foster local communities of faith
– Establishing Bible schools across multiple nations to educate and uplift future leaders
FRM is dedicated to alleviating the suffering and exploitation of vulnerable communities. Their resources aim to rescue and rebuild the lives of those affected by Christian persecution, abduction, violence, rape, and humanitarian crises stemming from war. FRM restores hope and dignity to those in need.
FRM is devoted to supporting individuals in dire circumstances—whether they are facing hunger, medical emergencies, or are victims of child sex trafficking and organ harvesting.
FRM provides essential aid to address their physical needs and, more importantly, introduces them to the love and hope found in Jesus Christ, offering spiritual nourishment and guidance.

FRM’s global strategic objectives:
- Fulfilling the biblical mandate that Jesus gave to all Christians to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation" includes entering war zones, dangerous areas, and hardliner countries that are violently opposed to the Gospel message.
- Piercing the darkness with the light of the Gospel by offering emergency interventions to the weakest and most vulnerable, including rescue and relocation, food, temporary and long-term shelter, clothing, and medical care.
- To demonstrate faith through works by providing necessary things for the body—such as food, clothing, and shelter—in the name of Jesus Christ (James 2:16; James 2:18).
- To challenge and edify the body of Christ by making known the trials and needs of its members worldwide, so that through prayerful support, we may remember those in prison as if we were there ourselves. Remember also those who are mistreated, as if you felt their pain in your own body. (Hebrews 13:3)
FRM is dedicated to planting healthy underground churches, discipling new believers to help them grow and thrive, and sending them back to their countries to impact other villages with the transformative Gospel message.
FRM’s core frontline workers are military-embedded chaplains, pastors, medical doctors, and ministry workers who are deployed to reach and transform their countries and communities (tribes).

Far Reaching Ministries
In 1996, Wes Bentley, a former U.S. Marine, founded Far Reaching Ministries (FRM), having already begun serving as a missionary in the war-torn regions of Bahr El-Ghazal, Western Equatoria, Nuba Mountains, and Southern Kordofan in Sudan, Africa. Two years later, FRM started working with South Sudanese refugee camps, primarily in Kiryandongo, Uganda, offering love and hope to thousands of orphans and widows who lost their families to the former Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA). FRM addressed the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those most affected by ethnic and religious cleansing.
Today, FRM has over 500 team members deployed across 39 of the world’s most dangerous nations. The organization lives out its faith by entering these closed and hostile nations to share the hope found only in Jesus, as well as disciplining and strengthening believers and intervening for those suffering under the tyranny of evil individuals and corrupt governments—working for those desperate to escape the unrelenting cycles of death, violence, and poverty.

Far Reaching Ministries Aviation (FRMA) was founded by Vicky Bentley in 2004.
FRM and FRMA are evangelical Christian missionary and humanitarian 501(c)(3) organizations dedicated to providing humanitarian resources, relief, education, and sharing the fundamental Orthodox Christian Gospel with impoverished, deprived, uneducated, and persecuted individuals across various nations worldwide.
